Football and Baseball...

Let's first off give a big round of applause to the Penn State Nittany Lions! That football game against Michigan was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! Four overtimes! It was a little strange getting up on Sunday morning to catch the last half, but so glad we did!! (And I apologize to my neighbors who heard me yelling! Sorry!) But, I love college football...and you've got to love it when your alma mater pulls off the upset!

Sports continued our day on Sunday...baseball in the latter half of the day. Caleb and Grayson had their very first games as players on the K.L. All Stars. We played at the Japanese school as a 12U team. And while the final score was not as we had hoped, we improved each and every inning. (And, I'm going to say this - the Japanese school practices EVERY day. Our kids practice two hours per week. AND...we were a really young 12U team compared to their kids.) Caleb had a great play at second...and even Grayson got to play a few innings in the outfield. It was great that the coaches let the really young kids have a chance to play!

Ready to go!

Checking out the competition!

Warming up and cheering on their team!

Notice Caleb's touch of Trojans gear!

Up to bat!

After the game we went to a place called Out of Africa for a few beers and munchies with some team parents and kiddos. Out of Africa was the perfect place - we bought the kids passes to swim and the parents were able to sit and chat and enjoy a few beers!

Aaahhh, so refreshing!

So there's the weekend wrap-up! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!
