Fab 5 Friday...

Hola Peeps!! Going to make it a quick one as the rain has finally stopped and it looks like we've got a couple of nice days coming our way! I can already hear my lounge chair calling me...if you listen closely, I bet you can hear it, too!

Anyways...here's a brief Fab 5 for ya'!

1. Dinner at my Bro's House. Last Sunday was dinner at my brother's house...and he and his wife cooked up a feast. But, for me, the highlight was definitely the steamed clams! Yum! My kids will tell you that it was the make-your-own sundaes served in Yankees ball caps, but trust me, it was definitely the clams. (Aided by my brother's Heady Topper and Sip of Sunshine!) Thanks for hosting!!

2. My Little Chefs in Training. So, we've been eating out some, but I will say that my boys are turning into quite the little helpers in the kitchen and on the grill. Both boys have been doing grill duty (with my watchful eye) and assisting with dinner prep. It's definitely been enjoyable having them in the kitchen. (And, I love that they're not on the iPads during this time!)

3. Container Arrives in Poland. By the time I hit "Publish" my dear husband will be overseeing/assisting with the unpacking of our container in Poland. It made it there in 5 weeks (not 8) and we couldn't be happier! This will make our arrival in August that much smoother!

4. Hole In One. Yup, I shot the ever elusive hole in one while golfing with the boys and my dad on Tuesday. A nice 130 yard par 3. I couldn't see the hole and used my 5 wood and knew it was a pretty good shot. But, as Caleb and I approached the hole looking for my ball...it was no where in site. Caleb jokingly said he would check the cup - and there it was! We even had Grayson come check the cup before I grabbed it out! Needless to say, I didn't care how I golfed the rest of the day (which was pretty crappy, if you must know) - I just basked in the glory of my one fantastic shot. I will now receive a plaque commemorating my shot which will be placed on the wall of the bar at Sunnyside. Yup, that's quite apropos.

5. Blaine is Coming! And we end the Fab 5 with the happy news that Blaine arrives here on Tuesday! Woohoo! We can't wait to see him!

Happy 4th of July to those celebrating!! We will be bbq'ing here and watching the local fireworks.
