Packing...

The movers came yesterday and started packing my house. Ugh! Air shipment, sea shipment, storage...along with suitcases to go to the hotel. My house looks like a hurricane went through it!

Our new home away from home is The Residence Inn. The boys love it...pool, breakfast everyday, and dinner Mondays - Thursdays. I like the complimentary wine and beer during the week.  It may be what saves me from heading to Crazyville!

Caleb finished up his Trojans Green 8U baseball season on Sunday - with a rainout. But, it was an awesome experience for him and for us. We met some amazing people and we really watched him mature this season. Pizza party this Thursday night with the team - which should be a fabulous ending to the season.

Grayson had his last taekwondo class this morning. That made me sad. His wonderful instructor, Mr. Anderson, gave him a signed t-shirt and a huge hug. Taekwondo has been just awesome for Grayson. It has provided lots of discipline and confidence!

And, I taught my final class at the gym yesterday. It was very hard to go back and teach my Monday morning group as they are just awesome and will be missed terribly!

Anyways...trying not to dwell on the stuff that makes me sad and focus on the great stuff that we've got coming our way!

Starting to say goodbye...

Goodbyes are not going to be easy...we started last night at the Kernels game with some of the Cargill crew. They are like our second family...

Going, going, gone...

We have now sold both cars and a bunch of other stuff that we're not going to drag across the ocean. Slowly, but surely, we're getting ready to make this move.

The entire family hit the travel clinic yesterday. Japanese encephalitis shots for everyone! We go back for round 2 in about four weeks. The boys were not thrilled about the shots, but we got through it. The boys have also started their round of typhoid pills. (We had to physically restrain Grayson this morning and force it down his throat! Good times! Good times!)

And, our tickets are booked to get us to Malaysia! We leave August 3rd from Albany. We are flying to Detroit then on to LAX. From LAX we go to Taipei and then on to KL. We arrive in KL on August 5th in the early afternoon. The boys have testing at MKIS on the 6th - so most likely will check into a hotel and try and get them some rest before a whirlwind week of trying to get our house livable! We'll be about 4-6 weeks without our "stuff" - which will not be fun, but we'll make it work.

Watch out Malaysia! The Blackburns are coming!
