Today's blog post sponsor is:
Chilla Cup...They are located in Solaris...this is where we had coffee this morning
Let's see...what's been happening? I have a list a mile long of things I could blog about this evening, but I'll just pick a few and try and hit the rest this weekend.
So Tiger Movers were responsible for the unloading of our shipment when it arrived here in Kuala Lumpur. Overall, I was really happy with the job they did...very few broken pieces (a platter, a couple of glasses - nothing major). But, then they unwrapped my dining room table - and what do I see? A nice gash out of the top of my table! Arrggghhhh!! So pissed off!! Needless to say, we've been jumping through the hoops of filing claims and trying to get the table restored (or show me the $)...and so far - we've heard nothing. Although, yesterday, a very nice Tiger rep stops by the house with these:
Yeah, pretty, pretty. And I'm sure all the expats who use Tiger receive these flowers. But, guess what? I'd just like my table fixed!! Or the claim settled. Let's just dispense with flowers and get this show on the road!
Okay...enough venting.
Today was the Swim Carnival at the kids' school. A great activity for all levels of swimmers. (They provide kickboards if a student is not too confident in his/her ability.) And the school has awesome facilities to do this - a beautiful 25 meter pool, outside - lots of seating for spectators. Just really great! Caleb and Grayson did a rockin' job - each of them grabbing at least one ribbon in their heats. Grayson did the freestyle with a kickboard (which he does not need - not quite sure who he conned to be allowed to do this!) and he tried the breaststroke (he struggled here, but he made it - so glad he tried it!). Caleb did freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. Here's a few pics from the day:

Caleb - One happy kiddo
So there's your Friday wrap-up! I'll try and post over the weekend...we've got some things planned which may prove to be worthy of blogging! (Or they won't be - and you'll hear about it anyways!!)
