The latter half of July and the beginning of August were crazy. A trip to St. Louis and then time with family in New York. Schroon Lake was wonderful...relaxing, the weather was beautiful, we went boating, saw my brother become an Ironman, the kids fished and fished and fished.
And then we were off to Kuala Lumpur. We're here now...and it's been a hectic few days. Lots of trips to Ikea and tech stores, slowly meeting new neighbors, getting lost as we tried to make our way around the city, Blaine turning on the windshield wipers (ALL THE TIME) instead of the directional signal, learning to adjust to the slower pace (EVERYTHING takes longer than you think it should), meeting Elizabeth, getting the kids adjusted, visiting school, all sorts of things!
I'll try and update later this week...just know we're here, we're safe, and we're slowly, but surely trying to adjust!
(P.S. I hope you all saw the Facebook post about Cocoa Balls...yup, can't make that up!)
