Halloween Carnival, Basketball Birthday Party and Sunday Shopping...

It's late Sunday afternoon and I think this is the first time I've stopped moving all weekend. Phew! It's been busy! But, extremely fun!

Friday night was the Halloween Carnival at the boys' school. The hallways are decorated and the kids follow a trail around school getting candy and glow bracelets and running around crazy with their friends. Our boys were tired Friday night. and even though we didn't stay long - I think they had fun!

Saturday was Caleb's birthday party. He opted to take a small group of friends to the Ninetology basketball game being played here in KL. We had kiddos over for pizza, cake and ice cream before we left for the game. Caleb has a great group of friends...couldn't have had nicer or politer kids than this group!

Yummy cake!

No...I didn't say that! Neither did the kids! I just think it's funny!

We took a bus from MKIS to the game. (So easy! No worrying about driving! Thanks Trang!) The game had some former NBA players playing against a team from primarily Southeast Asia. The NBA players consisted of Latrell Sprewell, Doug Christie, Jerry Stackhouse, and of course...Dennis Rodman. Now, Rodman was the "star" of this game...and made quite the entrance. He came out in white facepaint with glitter and eyeshadow and lipstick and his hair dyed numerous colors. And yes, he played the game that way...well, if you can call it playing. He goofed around a lot...and really didn't play that much or that well. But, it was entertaining and the kids seemed to have a good time - which was the whole goal!

The game ended with the MJ Life team beating the former NBA players.

Today, had us shopping at The Curve and grabbing lunch there for Caleb's birthday. The very first Johnny Rockets has opened here in Malaysia...so we thought a taste of home was in order for the birthday boy! Yummy burgers and fries and shakes! Who could resist!

It was really yummy! And the service was surprisingly fast and efficient for a restaurant that just opened a few days ago...I have to say I was impressed!

Of course, a trip to Toys-R-Us was in order - as Caleb has birthday cash burning a hole in his pocket! Let's just say I'm tired of talking about Beyblades already!

Anyways...fabulously fun weekend! And a very happy birthday boy! All worth it!
