Ah, flights...

So...today we've spent most of the day on the phone booking flights. Yes, we had flights booked, but then "people" (I won't name names) said we should ask to fly business class. Okay...let's look into this. Um yes, that will be $15,000 per ticket! WTH! No way! I can't in good conscience pay that price or, should I say, let Blaine's company pay that price. So, let's rethink this...we have approval for business class, but flying business class the entire way would be a RIDICULOUS amount of money. Hmmm...can we fly part of the trip business class? Like from London to Kuala Lumpur - because that's 12 hours of flight time. Yeah, the poor guy in corporate travel today has been put through the ringer...He's been on the phone with Blaine for at least 2 hours. Okay...poor little travel dude says if we travel coach through to London and then business class into KL we can get tickets for about $8,000 each. I'm still in "Are you kidding me?!" mode at this price! But, Blaine booked them. Um, okay. Business class it is from London to KL.

Other than that, we're working on other paperwork...finding birth certificates, marriage certificate, etc.
