Today's ornament is a remembrance of our vacations in Thailand. It depicts a tuk tuk - the greatest mode of transportation in Thailand - and it's made from a Singha beer can! (Our favorite beer to drink while in Thailand.) A young man was selling these tuk tuks made from beer cans on the beach and he stopped to ask us if we would buy one. At the time, he didn't have this little one made from a Singha can, but he returned the next day to bring us this one! He told us his dad makes them and then he comes and sells them. Lots of people are peddling their merchandise on the beach, but I remember this kid as being quite genuine. He had a big smile, he wasn't pushy, and he was a delight to talk to!
